Virtual Profiles is designed to work seamlessly with both Terminal Server and desktop virtualization products that provide desktop support for local installs. RTO Software supports the use of Virtual Profiles in the following environments:

• VMware View™
• Symantec® Endpoint Virtualization Suite
• Citrix XenApp™ and XenDestop™
• Microsoft® Terminal Services, Remote Desktop Services and Application Virtualization
• Quest® vWorkspace
• Ericom PowerTerm® WebConnect
• 2X Application Server and Virtual Desktop Server

VMware View Users
VMware has signed an OEM agreement with RTO software to include Virtual Profiles in some future version of the VMware View product. Through this transitional period, RTO Software will continue to provide support to customers using Virtual Profiles to manage their user data in a virtual machine within a VMware virtual environment. RTO Software will continue to provide technical support in these VMware virtual environments in an identical manner as in other supported x86-based systems without requiring reproduction of issues on native hardware. Should RTO Software have any reason to identify the virtualization layer as the root cause of an incident, the customer will be required to contact the appropriate VMware support provider to resolve the virtualization layer issue.
